Fattorie di CelliThe history of Borgo Corsignano and Fattorie di Celli starts so far ago. In 1990 the idea to restructure and enhance these sites borns, and the next year starts the recovery phase.
The recovery was made with the intent to enhance and preserve the rural landscape of Casentino, with the intention of using the original elements as possible. The search around the Casentino of old stone, sills, stairs and tiles allowed to breathe new life to buildings without affecting the original characters. Inside the yard, artisans and masons regave value and life to these elements because of their ability, as if you were at a workshop of '500.
By the desire to preserve all this moves just a new project, or rather the natural progression that began in 1991 with the recovery of Celli and Corsignano.
In order to upgrade the landscape and the desire to give the right to stage the show which are the natural forests and countryside in this casentinesi 2011, 20 years after the first stone laid for Celli, has tackled a new project that could be done Celli and Corsignano, as well as beautiful places, structures in which the living and the living room becomes completely environmentally friendly.
He then faced a trial that took into account the fundamental aspects of daily life, closely linked:
- The supply of energy
- Interior Design
Regarding the supply of energy, the intention was to favor the use of renewable sources and has been installed a PV array at Borgo Corsignano.

The idea proposed could be a simplistic solution, but it is not. The overall project provides for the gradual adaptation of all property belonging to the complex BorgoCorsignano and Fattorie di Celli, to improve its performance in terms of consumption and returns and achieve energy self-sufficiency, the ultimate goal is to be able to succeed to produce all the energy needed to satisfy the farm.
